Mint Thai Kitchen: Your Destination for Authentic Thai Salads, Noodles, and More in Houston

Everything here is so good but the Pad Thai is out of this world, consistently good and don't sleep on the green Thai tea not a lot of spots offer it and it's well done here, perfect amount of sweetness. As someone who is Thai can say this spot is definitely authentic.

This was my first time here - a great little Thai place off of 249 and Gessner. It is counter service, but the staff was friendly and fast, and the food came out fairly quickly. When you order water, not only do they bring glasses of water, but also an additional carafe so you don't have to constantly order refills. They also give you a small veggie egg roll and salad with your entree order, which was unexpected, but very nice. When I got there, I saw they didn't offer my favorite Thai dish (raad na) but when I asked they said it was no trouble to whip it up for me. It was delicious, and the portions are large. My friends also enjoyed their dishes (pad thai and pad see ew). Would reccommend!

Great little Thai restaurant. Food is good and very reasonably priced. Service is great. Waitress was attentive and very friendly.

Loved our experience here! 1st time and we will be back! Excellent customer service and the food is so fresh and flavorful! There are LOTS of gluten free options and they are all marked! At least half the menu can be made gluten free We got the fried chicken wings gluten free and they were super good! The sauce was incredible for it! Then we got the House chicken (their most popular) and friend rice with chicken.

Delicious. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I absolutely love that they do not put mushrooms in their pad kee mao. The actual store looks like a train wreck, disorganized, and boxes everywhere and cluttered. Pro tip either get your food to take out or pick a table where you’re not looking at stuff. Or, just take your chance because the food is so good. I’m going to have to bite the bullet and eat in one day and get one of those fabulous drinks.

It had been a long time since I've been to a Thai restaurant, and Mint Thai Kitchen was a very satisfying visit! We started with roasted brussels sprouts which had a wonderful charred flavor with a nice sweet glaze sauce. For my main dish, I decided to try my go to of Panang Curry with chicken, spice level 4 of 5. The curry was so full of flavor, and the heat level just perfect. Their level 5 is "Thai Hot" so the level 4 is about equivalent to many Thai restaurants' hottest. Even the noodle dish we ordered at level 2 had a fair amount of heat, but I love when it's very hot but doesn't overpower the flavors, and even with level 4 you could taste everything quite nicely. The restaurant was pretty empty for being 6pm, though during our visit there were many to-go orders and people picking up food frequently. If I lived closer, I would absolutely be ordering take out regularly.

Food is great! I had the pad kee Mao at level 4 spicy and it wasn't super spicy though it had a little kick. Great portion! The chicken skewers are amazing. Only complaint was the lightning. It was dim. Hurted the eyes a bit. Other than that, great place to eat! Will come back again!
